I will no longer be updating posts on Substack
I noticed today that Substack modified my account so that email notifications would no longer go out on new posts.
Due to that, and also due to Substack only supporting subscriptions via credit cards / Stripe, I decided to migrate to my own self hosted system.
I will be writing future posts at calvinfroedge.com
I have enjoyed writing at Substack - it is a good platform. It saddens me that they disabled my email deliveries - presumably because I paused billing.
If you subscribe to Calvin’s Thoughts, you will be able to login at CalvinFroedge.com with just your email address. It will send you a link you can use to access the content. All paid or comped subscribers have been marked as paid in the new platform.
Hi Calvin, signed into the new site. FYI I got email notifications for all the substack posts afaict. That's what normally prods me to read the articles so can't imagine there'll be any real change in my user experience. Best of luck.
Hi Calvin, I have followed the steps mentioned by you and i am logged into calvinfroedge.com but when i go into my account status it says - Plan complementary and not paid , though i am a paid customer via Substack. should i follow any other steps to get full access ?
